How to make Christmas decorations out of paper
I decided to use scrapbook paper in buffalo plaid and modge podge it onto wood. They’re super easy to make! Here’s what you need:
Buffalo plaid Christmas ornaments
- Wood circles. I used 2 different sizes: here and here.
- Buffalo plaid wrapping paper.
- Twine
- Modge podge and brush
- Expoxy
Make your own Christmas ornaments
First, cut out the size you want your wrapping paper to be.
Then modge podge it onto your wood circles.
Cut your twine to the length you want, flip your ornament over and use the expoxy to glue the twine to the back. I like using epoxy because it is much stronger than hot glue! It takes a few minutes to dry, so you need to keep the twine in place. When its dry, its on for good!!
And that’s it! Super easy to make and they look great! If you are looking for DIY Christmas ornaments ideas, this is the one to try! Then just sit back and enjoy your buffalo check Christmas tree!
If you try them out, I’d love to see them! Show them off on our Facebook page! Here’s the link.
Merry Christmas!
