Father’s Day Gift from Kids
I really like this DIY gift for dad because it’s the perfect gift from the kids. My kids are just learning to write and so this craft was especially fun for them to do!
What supplies will I need to do this DIY Father’s Day Gift?
- A white pillowcase. I got mine here.
- Fabric markers. I used these and they were great! I love that they were double tipped: one side was thicker and one was a fine point—perfect for writing!
- Optional: a piece of cardboard to put inside to keep the pillowcase flat while you draw/write.
Easy DIY Gift for Dad
The first thing I did was iron my pillowcase.
Then I stuck the cardboard in so it wouldn’t slide around while the kids drew.
And then,
I set the kids down at the table and let them have at it! I made sure to write the date somewhere on the pillowcase, so we’ll always remember when they created their masterpiece 😉
When you’re all done crafting, just leave it alone for 24 hours, and then it can be used and washed, etc.
