If you’re throwing a Halloween party or decorating your home for Halloween, then this DIY Halloween bat tree is a great way to spruce things up. Plus, it’s cheap and easy to make, and the result is pretty adorable!
Halloween is (almost) here! Fall is my most favorite time of year, with the crunchy leaves, hot chocolate, and scarves. Halloween gets thrown in there too, and just adds to the fun-ness each year.
Are you throwing a Halloween party or decorating your home for Halloween? When you’re putting together your Halloween decorations, it’s easy to focus on the more obvious choices, like skeletons and ghosts. But if you want to add a little extra flair, consider creating a bat tree! It’s a great way to add some unique spooky cuteness.
This bat tree is super easy to make and can be customized in any way you want! It’s also very cheap to make, which is a bonus in the DIY department. (You know how those darn DIY projects can get out of hand quickly…)
Here’s everything you’ll need for this DIY Halloween bat tree
- Sticks
- Vase
Or, if you’d rather not purchase bat stickers, you can print and cut out the bats yourself!
- You’ll also need black paper to print them on or to trace them onto, and tape or glue to attach them to the sticks.
Where to get the supplies for your Bat Tree
Sticks-I literally just found some outside 🙂
Bat stickers–of course, I got them here. They were less than $5, and come with their own adhesive!
Vase-use what you’ve got. Or snag this gorgeous one I’m in love with here!
Printable bats–you can use this bat printable to cut out your own bats if you prefer. I would suggest printing or tracing them onto black cardstock.
